Heritage Catering - a new era... 

A new era has arrived for Heritage Catering Management Services with the establishment of a new administration and training centre at Yeerongpilly . After many years based in Ipswich the new premises will be a convenient meeting point for all field staff as well as providing a modern facility for the company customer, Food Safety and W.H.& S. training. 

The expanding corporate function and events business will be co-coordinated from the attached warehouse facility.

Staffing Company
The ongoing skills and labour shortage in the hospitality industry was the catalyst for establishing the training facility which will be available for hire to external businesses. The training facility has now led to the formation of a separate entity to administer and control all requirements of the company's staff services. 

Named CaterStaff Qld., the company will be developed to provide both internal and external staff services including recruitment, training, labour hire and the outsourcing of catering management 
services.

Sydney Office Following the success of Heritage Catering in Queensland, an office has been opened in Sydney to strengthen and expand the company's presence in the lucrative NSW market. Pauline Tayler has been appointed to head up the expansion and provide support to the existing sites in Sydney and Port Macquarie.

Queensland Museum Contract Heritage Catering have been successful in winning the contract to provide catering services to the Queensland Museum at Southbank. 
The onsite Cafe will receive an exciting renovation specifically designed to cater for a wider range of visitors including school and tour groups, families and international guests. Add to this the museum's commitment to attracting corporate and conference groups for functions and events in a very unique environment and you can see exciting times ahead for Heritage.

The Future
The Heritage strategy of  "Growth through Innovation and Customer Service" highlights an underlying passion for bringing new and creative ideas to the marketplace. Under development at the moment is a lunchbox concept for schools facing challenges with HACCP and the new healthy eating programme introduced by government. Also a fresh food self serve concept ready for franchising which offers gourmet prepacked food items designed for the time poor but health and quality obsessed business and professional diners.
